I’ll be speaking before All Aboard Ohio on advocacy on January 7th in Cleveland in the morning on the topic of transit advocacy.
(I consider Amtrak to be largely a form of transit, so Amtrak advocacy is very similar or identical to transit advocacy, in my view of the world).
If you’re in Cleveland, come on by. If not, make sure you figure out what your legislative ask for 2009 is. Are you asking for more frequencies? More service? Safer service? Expanded routes? It had better not just be “more money” because that’s not compelling.
