I’m a huge fan of Jackie Huba and Ben McConnell’s work on building word of mouth. It’s a core insight that transit agencies need to embrace — we will build more ridership when our riders will tell their friends and family and networks to ride with them. We need to help our riders do that and we need to help the destinations along transit lines to tell their customers and potential customers about the transit route to get to their place.
